Our Heritage

Lanolin Beauty has been part of the Australian skincare story for over three decades. Long before "clean beauty" became a buzzword, we were formulating with one of nature's most effective moisturisers — a rich, natural emollient that has nourished skin for generations.

Our roots run deep in the Australian wool industry. Lanolin — the waxy substance naturally found in sheep's wool — has been used for centuries to protect and heal skin. We've spent 35+ years perfecting how to harness it, refine it, and deliver it in formulas that everyday Australians love.

The People Behind the Brand

In 2021, Roger Kirwan took the reins of Lanolin Beauty International — and for him, it was personal. Growing up on a sheep farm, Roger developed a deep respect for the land, the animals, and the remarkable properties of lanolin from an early age. When the opportunity came to steward this beloved Australian brand, he didn't hesitate.

"Lanolin is something I've known my whole life," says Roger. "Taking on this brand felt like coming home."

In 2022, Katy Carroll joined as Creative Director, bringing a fresh vision that honours the brand's heritage while speaking to a new generation of Australian women. Katy's work has been central to reimagining how Lanolin Beauty looks, feels, and connects with its community.

Together, Roger and Katy lead a passionate team united by a simple belief: that Australian women deserve skincare that is honest, effective, and made with ingredients they can trust.

Every product we make is proudly Australian. Our lanolin is ethically sourced from Australian Merino sheep — a byproduct of the wool industry that would otherwise go to waste. We work with local suppliers, support Australian manufacturing, and are committed to keeping our production close to home.
